World Class Safety Standards
Maintaining a high safety standard starts with our people and a shared commitment across our organization. Focused on reliability, quality assurance, and quality control, our safety standards incorporate best practices used by the U.S. commercial airline carriers and applying them to our private aviation.
We own and operate one of the best mid-sized fleet of King Air 350's and Cessna 172 trainer aircraft in the country. Not only does our fleet offer an exceptional onboard experience, but each aircraft also features advanced safety equipment including Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems, storm scope displays and terrain awareness warning system to name a few.
Each of East African Aviation's pilots have been carefully selected from the best in the industry—averaging more than 10,000 hours of flight time. Every East African Aviation flight is under the command of two full-time, type-rated FAA-recognized captains, meeting the requirements set forth by the FAA. Our pilots also have recurrent training semi annually to stay current and with the progressions in the aviation industry.
All aircraft maintenance is completed to manufacturer specifications by top tier maintenance centers, under the supervision of our highly trained Field Service Supervisors. In between scheduled maintenance events, we have implemented a software based tracking program, custom built for our fleet to enhance the reliability of our fleet.
